Join Louisiana CURE as we discuss important events relating to the incarceration system within Louisiana. We advocate for CIP (Currently Incarcerated Person[s]) and families of those incarcerated.
Louisiana CURE meets on the second Tuesday of every month, at 6pm. Parking is available for free.

**Note: The following is important information for the Saturday, April 18, 2026 Party Primary Election.
Perย Acts 1 of the 2024 First Extraordinary Legislative Sessionย andย 640 of the 2024 Regular Legislative Session, starting in 2026, only Democratic and Republican party canddiates can qualify by paying the fee for party primary elections. All other parties and non-affiliated candidates must qualify via nominating petition by the deadline for the Party Primary Election.
- The first day to obtain signatures for a nominating petition is September 16, 2025.
- The deadline to submit signatures for a nominating petition is December 17, 2025.
