Louisiana Supreme Court

Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center
The Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center (LaFHAC) is a
nonprofit civil rights organization established in 1995 to
eradicate housing discrimination. LaFHACโs work throughout Louisiana includes educational offerings, free legal services for victims of housing discrimination, policy advocacy, and foreclosure prevention counseling. LaFHAC is dedicated to fighting discrimination because it is an illegal and divisive force that perpetuates poverty and segregation, and limits access to opportunity.

Vera Louisiana
Since 2006, Vera has successfully worked to reduce the number of people held in local jails, advocated for data-driven reforms, and partnered with people in the local New Orleans justice system, city leaders, and community organizations. In 2021, Vera widened its scope beyond New Orleans, seeking to reform Louisianaโs entire criminal legal system.
