Louisiana CURE (Citizens United for Rehabilitation of Errants) is a grassroots prison advocacy organization staffed by volunteers. Our primary purpose is to advocate against all forms of inhumane treatment of incarcerated people. People in prison often lack basic human needs such as sanitary living conditions, basic medical care and medications, access to fresh air and exercise, and communication with loved ones.

Louisiana CURE Relies on Volunteers

You can join us in one of many volunteer roles to help move this mission forward.

Current needs include openings for newsletter creation, website management, social media management, legislative monitoring, recruiting and fundraising.

The opportunities to volunteer are not limited by the current listings. If you have an idea or suggestion for volunteering please share it with us!ย
